Add your first facts (by hand or import)

Add facts by hand, or import suggestions from a public web page.

How to add your first facts (manual vs import)50 secTyping a fact in yourself versus importing facts from your website.

Add a fact yourself

In the Knowledge Base, tap Add a fact and pick a type: FAQ, Product / service, Offer, Event, Policy answer, or Approved destination (a link Orbit8 is allowed to share).

For prices you can choose Exact price, Starting at, Price range, Explicitly free or Contact for price, and pick a currency.

A fact you add yourself is ready to use straight away. This is the best way to add anything that isn’t on your website.

Import from your website

Tap Add websites and paste a link, or scan your website during setup. Orbit8 reads the page and suggests facts for you to approve. Nothing from an import is used until you approve it.

Which should I use?

Import when your website already says it well; it’s quicker for lots of facts. Add by hand for anything that’s only in your head, or to word an answer exactly.
